General
What is CiteRadar?
CiteRadar is an AI Visibility Monitor. It tracks whether AI assistants — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and (rolling out) Google AI Overviews & Gemini — mention, recommend and cite your brand when buyers ask about your category. You get a visibility score, competitor share-of-voice, the sources AIs cite, and a prioritized plan to get cited.
How is this different from SEO tools?
SEO tools track where you rank in Google's list of links. CiteRadar tracks whether AI assistants name and cite your brand inside their synthesized answers — a different surface that's capturing more and more buyer intent. They complement each other.
How does CiteRadar work?
You enter your brand, category, location, competitors and the keywords you want to win. CiteRadar generates real buyer-intent questions, runs them through the AI assistants (without naming you, to test unprompted recall), scores every answer, and gives you a report plus a fix plan. Re-run monthly to track the trend.
Is the data exactly what a user sees in ChatGPT?
It's a strong, consistent proxy. CiteRadar queries the assistants' APIs with web grounding, which closely matches what users see — but a model's API output isn't byte-identical to every app session. We measure 'AI search visibility' rather than a single user's exact screen.
Pricing & trial
How much does CiteRadar cost?
NOK 490/month after a 7-day free trial. That includes monthly automated tracking, all available engines, competitor share-of-voice, the fix plan, and white-label PDF reports.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You create an account and get a 7-day free trial with no card required. You only add a card if you decide to continue.
How do I start the free trial?
Click 'Start free trial', create an account with your email and a password, and you're in — the trial starts immediately.
How do I subscribe or manage billing?
Go to Account → Plan & billing. 'Subscribe' starts checkout (Stripe); once subscribed, 'Manage billing' opens the customer portal where you can update your card, view invoices, or cancel.
How do I cancel?
Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing → cancel in the Stripe customer portal. You keep access until the end of the current period.
Engines & data
Which AI engines does CiteRadar check?
Claude, Perplexity and ChatGPT today, with Google AI Overviews and Gemini rolling out. You get a combined visibility score plus a per-engine breakdown.
What is a visibility score?
The percentage of tested buyer questions where your brand is mentioned in the AI's answer, across the selected engines. Higher is better.
What is share of voice?
Your brand's mentions divided by all brand mentions (yours + competitors') for the same questions. It shows how you stack up in a crowded category, not just whether you appear.
What are 'citation targets'?
The source domains the AI assistants pull from most when answering your category's questions (directories, review sites, roundups). Getting listed and well-regarded on these is the highest-leverage way to start getting cited.
How often should I run it?
Monthly. AI answers drift as models update and competitors publish, so a monthly trend matters more than any single snapshot. CiteRadar can run automatically each month and email you the report.
Account & reports
I didn't get my report email.
Check spam first. Reports are emailed when monthly auto-runs are enabled and email delivery is configured for your account; you can always download the PDF from the report screen, and view past reports under 'Recent reports' on your dashboard.
Can I download reports as PDF?
Yes — every report has a 'PDF' button that generates a branded, client-ready PDF.
How do I track more than one brand?
Run a check for each brand from the dashboard; each becomes its own tracked brand with its own history and monthly trend.
I forgot my password.
Password reset is being added. In the meantime, contact support and we'll help you regain access.
Agencies & white-label
Can agencies white-label CiteRadar?
Yes. In Account settings, set your agency name and accent color, and every on-screen report, PDF and report email is branded as yours — so you can resell AI visibility monitoring as your own service.
Can I manage multiple clients?
Yes — track unlimited brands from one account, each with its own reports and monthly trend.
